When an apprentice completes a National Certificate in Joinery and the term of his or her apprenticeship, JITO issues a QUALIFIED JOINERS CARD.
This plastic wallet card shows the name and the qualification of the owner, and the date the qualification was registered on this website.
The card raises the profile of joinery tradespeople and increases the awareness of customers that they are dealing with a tradesperson who has served an set apprenticeship term and holds the qualification named on the card.
The Qualified Joiners card is not only for holders of the national Certificates in Joinery, but also for holders of the New Zealand Trade Certificate or Advanced Trade Certificate in Joinery.
