What about Apprentices?
  • The National Certificate in Glass and Glazing Introduction will be a prerequisite to the apprenticeship programme.
  • Apprentices will continue training at the Glass and Glazing Institute in Wellington to complete the National Certificates in Glazing and Glass Processing.
How does training happen?
  • Training is practical and immediately useful. There are two orientation days delivered by industry experts away from the workplace. All other training happens on the job.
  • Employees work through the programme at their own pace with the aid of training workbooks and the support of a workplace mentor. JITO will arrange all training and subsidise all training costs.
