JITO administers glazing apprenticeships as well as joinery and laminate fabrication apprenticeships, and arranges training and assessment for about 450 apprentices every year. Investing in training for the National Certificates helps workplaces achieve high standards of of glazing and glass processing through better skilled people. Training Updating Qualifications The qualifications set out in this website are reviewed every three years by an Advisory Group of interested industry members who are able to recommend changes and add new skill requirements in response to current and future industry needs. JITO Charter The Joinery ITO Charter came into effect on the 1st of January 2004, and will remain effective until 27th December 2008. The Charter will be the guiding document for our annual Business Plans over this period.
