For The National Certificates in Glazing and Glass Processing This service is available to people in the glass industry who have learned their craft over many years, but do not hold a glazing or glass processing qualification. A registered glass Workplace Assessor can assess evidence provided, interview and assess the candidate. If the outcome is positive, the candidate will be awarded a National Certificate in Glazing or a National Certificate in Glass Processing. The requirements are that the candidate is over the age of 25, and has been working in the industry for at least seven years, and is currently working as a glazier or glass processor. shall : When the assessor is satisfied that the candidate has the skills expected of a craftsperson in the relevant glass discipline : 2. the Joinery Industry Training Organisation will notify the New Zealand Qualifications Authority that the candidate has met the requirements of the relevant National Certificate in Glazing. The candidate will be able to uplift the relevant Certificate.
