Apprentices who have completed the required term of apprenticeship and have gained a National Certificate in Joinery are issued with a Qualified Joiners Card and are registered with the Joinery ITO as Qualified Joiners.
Apprentices who completed their term of apprenticeship during 1992 and 1999 and gained the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Qualifying Certificates prior to the establishment of the National Qualifications Framework are also registered with the Joinery ITO as Qualified Joiners.
Joinery tradesperson who are not listed may apply for registration and a Qualified Joiners card. Application can be made to cards@jito.org.nz.
