Modern Apprenticeships are a government sponsored, work-based education initiative for young people, combining the best of the apprenticeship tradition with additional features - designed to assist more young people to access employment based training towards national qualifications.
The main difference from a traditional apprenticeship is the provision of the services of a Modern Apprenticeship co-ordinator.
