Employers - Time Based Term
TIME BASED APPRENTICESHIP TERM
Our industry believes that "practice makes perfect" and has retained time based apprenticeship terms. Your apprentice should be able to complete his or her formal training and gain a National Certificate in Joinery during this term, with some additional time to gain valuable practical experience.

Credit of Time
If your apprentice has worked in the industry before, or has attended a pre-trade joinery course, an application can be made to have this time credited to the apprenticeship term.
